General Information:
Colorado State University is honored to host the 30th Annual Lillian Fountain Smith Conference for Nutrition Educators at the Fort Collins Marriott, 350 E. Horsetooth Road, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Just 65 miles north of Denver, Fort Collins is a progressive community of 120,000 persons nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Fort Collins enjoys close proximity to such major recreation areas as Estes Park, Red Feather Lakes, Cache La Poudre River ("Colorado's Trout Route") and several national mountain parks.

In driving to Colorado, Interstates 70 and 80 east and west and Interstate 25 north and south provide easy access to Fort Collins. Air travel is possible on most major airlines to Denver International Airport (DIA). Transportation is available to and from DIA and the Fort Collins Marriot for $30.00 each way. Driving directions to the Fort Collins Marriott from I-25: Take the Harmony exit west toward Fort Collins. At Timberline, go north (right) one mile to Horsetooth road. Turn West (left) at Horsetooth and contiune 1 3/4 miles to the entrance to the Marriott on your right.

Purpose:
The program is designed to provide participants with the current, objective, and authoritative information available in selected areas of human nutrition. The speakers are invited to participate in the conference based on nationally-recognized contributions to nutrition research or practice.

Conference Synopsis:
A synopsis of the Lillian Fountain Smith Conference for Nutrition Educators is included in your conference registration fee. Copies will be distributed at the conference. If you would like additional synopses or cannot attend the conference and would like a copy of the synopsis, please complete the attached registration form and return with your payment by May 30, 2008.

ADA Credit:
The following continuing education opportunities will be available: American Dietetic Association CEUs, no extra cost; American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences PDUs, no extra cost; Certified Dietary Manager CEUs, no extra cost; and 1 Colorado State University CEU, $50.00.
