ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission requirements include a minimum GPA of 3.2 overall, 3.0 in basic sciences and 3.5 in food and nutrition courses. The Graduate Record examination is required with a minimum score of 1000 combined verbal and quantitative and 4.0 on the writing sample.

Prerequisite Coursework for the MS Degree include:
1 semester of General Chemistry with lab
1 semester of Organic Chemistry with lab
1 semester of Biochemistry
1 semester of Biology with lab
1 semester of Physiology with lab
1 semester Human Nutrition (FN 350 or equivalent)

Additional Prerequisite Coursework for Entry into the MS/CP include
courses which are available at CSU or may be taken prior to admission.

1 semester General Psychology
1 semester Microbiology with lab
